This includes electronic information provided by the Company, which will constitute a part of the Service rather than a Product.
1.5 "Products" denotes any items offered for sale on the Site, which may be available for purchase or provided as complimentary offerings.
1.6 This Agreement establishes legally binding terms for your use of the Site. Engaging with the Site as a "Visitor" (browsing the Site) or as a "Client" or "Member" indicates your consent to these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Site or Services, even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
6. Governing Law
These Terms and your use of the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [your applicable jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law principles. 7. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the services provided by Renew Your Alignment, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
8. Service Provision
The services offered consist of therapeutic sessions conducted via Zoom or other designated platforms. These sessions aim to support individuals in their mental and emotional well-being through various therapeutic modalities as determined appropriate by the therapist.
9. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling
9.1 Refunds
All appointment sessions conducted via Zoom must be paid in full at the time of booking. Payment can be facilitated via bank transfer or through the website. For our Free Consultation, payment must be made within 48 hours of receiving an appointment confirmation email to secure the session.
9.2 Non-arrival
For missed appointments, clients will be charged the full session fee if a cancellation notice of at least 48 hours is not provided. Refunds for such missed sessions will only be processed if appropriate notice is given, again minus a £25 administration fee.
9.3 Late or Early Arrival
Clients are encouraged to respect the scheduled time for their appointments. Those arriving early should refrain from entering the meeting until their appointed time. It is vital for maintaining the integrity and flow of services. Late arrivals will be accommodated as best as possible within the time remaining, but the session will wrap up at the scheduled endpoint without any fee adjustments.
9.4 Cancellation Rights
Renew Your Alignment retains the right to cancel or reschedule appointments if unforeseen circumstances arise. In the event that the therapist is unable to continue treatment, clients will receive a full refund.
10. Confidentiality
10.1 Confidential Communication
All communications and interactions during therapy sessions are confidential and are conducted in accordance with the ethical standards of practice. This confidentiality is vital to the therapeutic relationship and the client's trust in the process.
10.2 Disclosure Obligations
Therapists are legally obligated to disclose information to authorities if there is a perceived risk of harm to the client or others. Confidential information may also be shared with appropriate NHS professionals if needed for the client’s treatment.
10.3 Supervision and Accountability
In accordance with professional standards, portions of discussions may be referenced in supervisory sessions to ensure quality of care. It is important to note that any identifying details, such as names or personal information, will not be disclosed during these supervisory discussions.
11. GDPR/Data Protection Act
11.1. Data Retention Policy As part of our commitment to client confidentiality and data protection, therapists are required to retain client details on file for a period of seven years. This retention may be on hard copy or in digital format, and we ensure that all information is kept secure in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH). This includes implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal data.
11.2. Client Rights Clients are entitled to request a copy of their personal data retained by the therapist while it is held. Under the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a nominal charge of £20 will be applicable for each copy requested. Should you require access to your information, please direct your request through the appropriate communication channels indicated on the Site.
12. Guarantees
12.1. Understanding Therapy Outcomes It is imperative for clients to understand that there are numerous complexities surrounding the nature of therapy, which can influence its success. While many clients may observe positive benefits from participating in therapy, we maintain that it is neither ethical nor realistic to offer guarantees pertaining to the success or complete resolution of any condition. Each individual's therapeutic journey is unique, and results will vary based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, personal circumstances, commitment to the therapeutic process, and the nature of the condition being treated.
12.2. Appointment Cancellation Policy In unforeseen situations that are beyond our control, Laura Nettleford reserves the right to cancel or postpone an appointment. In the event that the therapist is unable to continue with the treatment, we guarantee that a full refund will be issued promptly. Our organization is not affiliated with the authors of these testimonials, nor are these individuals compensated for their endorsements.
